Anonymous whispered, "there is nothing wrong with seeing a therapist if you feel the need to talk to someone. i know some christians have a problem with the idea b/c it has its roots in freudian thought, but recognizing you need to speak with a professional is a strength, not a weakness."
Thanks. I don’t really have a problem with the idea of therapy in itself—it’s just been difficult for me to admit to myself that it’s something I might need. It seems like it might be a good thing for me though and that it could only help.
